Hello, everyone~ For those unfamiliar with Kingdom Hearts (or even simply the games Chain of Memories or Dream Drop Distance), I will try my best to explain game elements. Riku has two strange powers: one of which acts like an evil/questionable morality radar that he doesn't know how to right well turn off (it's in a constant state of ON). The other? Dream Diving. The latter is Exactly What It Says On The Tin; the former, however, is more tricky to understand.
Sensing: In few words, Riku's sense of smell is altered slightly to be able to smell what his universe calls "Darkness". In the Kingdom Hearts series, the Heart (kokoro/the soul) is made of two things: Light (the purity) and Dark. His senses are geared to sensing the latter.
Darkness is the possibility of malevolent intent, and is often tied with the negative emotions of anger or hatred in the canon; sometimes envy, like in Riku's case. If channeled, it can be used in forms of both physical and magical attacks - though this is often considered playing with fire that can consume their heart if not careful.
My question regarding this is, is it alright for him to sense it in your characters? And, if so, on a scale of 1 (being none at all) to 13 (you are Xehanort), how to they fare?
Dream Diving/Spirit Dream Eaters
As of Dream Drop Distance, Riku has gained two abilities: one being diving into the dreams of others, and being able to consume the nightmares of others. He also has brought along his Komory Bat who can also ward off Nightmares. Thus, since i happened to app him in spooktober I have another series of questions to ask:
1. If he felt the need to, is it alright for him to dive into your character's dreams?
2. Is it okay for him to lend your character his Dream Eater (whether said character wants to have a temporary visitor or not) to help them sleep better at night?
DISCLAIMER: I will not use any information to infomod your characters. Any sensory ability is meant as a little white flag, and even then, he is not one to judge for he reeked of male intent once before, too.

My question regarding this is, is it alright for him to sense it in your characters?
Yes it is!
If so, what would he sense?
Some anger, more frustrated anger than flat out anger if that makes a difference.
On a scale of 1 (Innocent as Bambi) to 13 (you are Xehanort), how to they fare?
4? She doesn't really go around mad all the time, but demigods are very explicitly shown in her canon to have the potential to go good OR bad. Piper is definitely on the side of good, but she's also still susceptible to temptation. Sometimes her emotions fuel her charmspeak, including anger.
Also she's a tomboy and can sometimes be a bit hot headed, bursts of temper, that kind of thing.
If he felt the need to, is it alright for him to dive into your character's dreams?
I'd definitely like a heads up first, but if it's the sort of thing he'd seek permission for first and he manages to get Piper's okay then I'm good with this! If not, I'm sure it'll end up being a plot-by-plot/case-by-case deal anyway.
Long answer short I don't particularly mind, though if he does so without warning Piper might be pissed.
Is it okay for him to lend your character his Dream Eater to help them sleep better at night?
Absolutely. A real live dream catcher? Yes please. I imagine she has nightmares fairly often, being a demigod on a deadly quest.

My question regarding this is, is it alright for him to sense it in your characters? Sure
If so, what would he sense? Mostly envy, tying into her more insecure side. She does have something of a temper too.
On a scale of 1 (Innocent as Bambi) to 13 (you are Xehanort), how to they fare? Round about a 2-3 I would say. She's certainly not entirely sweetness and light but her darker side is tame at best and tends to be limited to petty jealousy and the odd spat where she loses her patience with
Kanjisomeone. Nothing dangerous, but not quite as innocent as she looksIf he felt the need to, is it alright for him to dive into your character's dreams? Sure, though I'd prefer to discuss it oocly first of course.
Is it okay for him to lend your character his Dream Eater to help them sleep better at night? If it comes up as something he'd do, absolutely.

My question regarding this is, is it alright for him to sense it in your characters? Yes, it would be fine even if he might feel defensive in having someone sense him in any way.
If so, what would he sense? There is only one emotion he will be able to sense before anything his -- his love for his master, Ririchiyo. His love for her is very devoted, pure, but impure all at once. She is constantly on his mind and heart. The next emotion Riku will be able to sense is anger with himself, regret, and self-loathe. And if Riku wishes to go deeper, then he would be able to sense nothing at all as he is genuinely a hollow individual that does not feel sympathy or interest in anything that is not Ririchiyo-related. He is a mix ball of issues.
On a scale of 1 (Innocent as Bambi) to 13 (you are Xehanort), how to they fare? This is tough considering Soushi's situation, but I would say he is a 5, 6, or even 7 depending on the situation. It would be higher if it were not for his very love for Ririchiyo that is considered his light.
If he felt the need to, is it alright for him to dive into your character's dreams? He could. Soushi won't mind until he realizes Riku is real, but for the time being -- go crazy!
Is it okay for him to lend your character his Dream Eater to help them sleep better at night? Sure, Soushi will accept it if it helps or has a need for it.

My question regarding this is, is it alright for him to sense it in your characters? Go ahead! If he can sense personae within him, I'm fine with that too.
If so, what would he sense? I think the one thing that brings concern involving this weirdo is afraid of being alone. Representative of Hope and all that. But he would feel mostly love for his friends and family, wanting to help others, etc. Mostly the warm fuzzy feelings.
On a scale of 1 (Innocent as Bambi) to 13 (you are Xehanort), how to they fare? Hope Child. (Between 1-3 aka normal human) Unless your name is Adachi. Maybe. >.>
If he felt the need to, is it alright for him to dive into your character's dreams? Go right ahead! It would be interesting CR that's for sure.
Is it okay for him to lend your character his Dream Eater to help them sleep better at night? If it gets to that point then yes, it's fine by me.
